I founded Surrey Football Coaching in 1991 after finishing my playing career with clubs such as Wimbledon FC. During that time, I moved into youth development, working with academy players at professional clubs and eventually becoming Head of Youth Development at Wimbledon. Along the way, I earned my UEFA ‘A’ Licence — but what mattered most was realising my passion: helping children grow, not just as players, but as people. For over 30 years, Surrey Football Coaching has been about giving children of all abilities a safe, fun, and supportive place to learn, make friends, and fall in love with sport.

SFCC was the UK’s first football coaching company and we’re proud to still be family-run today! Our ethos is simple: football for every child, no matter their ability. We focus on building skills, confidence, and friendships in a safe, fun environment.
All our coaches are highly qualified, with safeguarding, first aid, and enhanced DBS certificates, so parents can feel at ease. Over the years, we’ve grown from running holiday clubs to working in schools, nurseries, and even offering advanced sessions for academy-level players.

We run lunchtime and after-school football clubs across Surrey in primary and infant schools. These clubs are a fun and structured way for children to enjoy football while staying active and learning new skills.

Our nursery football sessions are specially designed for little ones taking their first steps into sport. These fun, age-appropriate activities help children develop confidence, coordination, and a love for movement.
